Ministries

Jr/Sr High Youth Group:

This group meets every Wednesday from 5 PM to 6:30 PM and dinner is served at 5 PM.

Our passion for youth is that they get into the word themselves and are given the tools to do so. We give each child a bible reading plan, give various verses to memorize for those who desire to and challenge them with SOAP (Study, Observe, Apply, Pray). We have a small meal together at the beginning followed by our Bible Study time and then a time of games and hanging out. Our hope is to equip youth for effective ministry now and to be devoted Jesus followers who love and pursue Him now, rather than waiting until later. We try to have a mix of service projects and fun outings throughout the year.

Done service projects such as:

• Painting Church step rails
• Collecting and sorting cans for a local fundraiser
• Helping with meals and activities for younger children’s special programs
• Packing shoe boxes for "Operation Christmas Child"

• We are always open to invitations for our youth to serve the community!

Fun outings we have done:

• Played miniature golf
• Gone hiking
• Had a swimming/pool party
• Trip to knoebels
• Bonfire with smores and games

"God's Promise Club" Youth Group Ages 5-10:

This group meets every Wednesday from 5:00pm-6:30pm and dinner is served at 5pm (note: We are currently on break and we will resume on April 12). Our time together is spent singing songs about Jesus, sharing bible stories, memorizing verses, and playing games. We encourage children to share praises and prayer requests at the beginning and ending time of our time together.  Our hope is to hide Gods word in their hearts, and to show them the love Jesus has for each of them. We also plan events thru out the year. 

• Game night
• Saturday matinee/ movie to be announced
• Girls night /boys campfire night
• Parents picnic at highland park
• A special dinner to honor our grandparents
• Hayride, games, cider and doughnuts. Christmas program and dinner.

Seekers in Sneakers (during main service)

Seekers in Sneakers is our weekly children’s church that is designed to teach children in an age specific way about God during the sermon so parents can give their full attention to the Word and being equipped in their daily lives. Our Children’s Curriculum is the GOSPEL PROJECT, tracing and teaching Gospel truths that show up all through the scriptures.
